Wauw, I just watched Brené Brown Netflix special and what a powerful and beautiful woman is Brené. Here message is so strong, it resonates through my whole body.

Nowadays, more and more people are holding up a mask. Don’t really show who they are, because of the online criticism and the easy ways to fast success and money (which is a fable, it always requires years of hard work). We hide behind our mask playing safe instead of create and innovate. We need to actively change our culture. We need more trust, safe environments to play, allow failure to happen, keep each other responsible and focus on growth. We need to be vulnerable.

This is what I loved about being a manager. I was on a mission to create the culture where people can innovate and be creative. Where teamwork stands before sole success. Where people are kept responsible for their mistakes, but are tackled as a team. One your own you’re a fast sprinter, but with a team you can finish a marathon.
